We're Moving After All... UGH...

While we were on vacation last week, I received a call from our landlord telling me that they want to sell the house we are living in. He said we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted, until it sells that is. 

He gave us the option to move two units over and sign a new lease, or stay and show the house and move when they sell it.

So... after much dismay, we have decided to move two units over. The house is the same floorplan and actually has nicer upgrades (wood floors!!). However, we have to pack everything up and move. Yuck.

Disneyworld Trip

We spent Memorial Day week in Florida at Disneyworld with my parents, my cousin Julie, her husband Joe, and my Godson Jack, because my Dad was nice enough to get everyone a condo at the Animal Kingdom Village with a view of the savanna!

We had a great time, with the exception of the unbearable humidity and the crowds of people!

Moving to CA?

Tim's soon to be old boss came up today and approached Tim about taking over a store in California?!?!
It would be another big promotion for Tim; with a store volume that is almost four times what his store in Prescott is!
Thankfully, he declined. Whew.
Hopefully the next promotion opportunity for Tim will be back in the Phoenix area.

Round two...

We finished round two of treatment this month and am disappointed to say that the results were not good. No production of follicles at all. So, time for more pills, more shots and more doctor's appointments.
I was telling a good friend that I'm already ready to give up and she gave me some great advice (although it was about a difficult situation she is going through, it gave me the motivation I needed for myself). She said to try harder and prove to everyone that I can get pregnant and have a baby. Here's hoping that it will stand true for us both :)

San Diego!

We just returned from a very quick trip to San Diego for our friends Blake & Necia's wedding. We decided to fly in early to spend a day at Sea World- since neither of us had been in a very long time!
Sea World was fun and the wedding was beautiful. Congrats to Blake & Necia!

We had our first house guests of the year last weekend! Tim's dad and stepmom came up on Sunday and my parents came up on Monday. Tim BBQ'd a fabulous shish-kabob lunch for all of us and we got to use some of our new dishes we received as wedding gifts (see photo above of our monogrammed Pottery Barn dishes!!).

We love having company and are looking forward to a big July 4th weekend party!

Making Babies

We knew before we got married that we wanted to have babies as soon as possible! (Let's face it... I'm not a spring chicken anymore!)

However, for us, baby-making isn't "fun". I've known for years that I have PCOS; poly cystic ovarian syndrome, which means that I don't ovulate. So, getting me pregnant involves drugs, shots, more drugs, more shots, dr's appointments, more shots and other not so fun things! (see below for our baby making kit!)

We started our "process" quickly after returning from the wedding cruise and after four weeks of nervousness and excitement, we found out it didn't work the first time (the success rate is 18%).

So... on to round two we go...
